Introduction
Polish Airsoft Festival [PAF] Is for You If:
You want to participate in a large airsoft event focused on intense shooting action.
You understand that by choosing a side with a command structure (Blue or Red), you will be subject to a chain of command and must follow orders from your leaders.
You value having "fun" both in the game zone and in the festival area.
You enjoy and actively engage in the events happening around you.
PAF Is Not for You If:
You expect purely LARP-focused tasks from the organizers.
You are unwilling or unable to adhere to airsoft "fair play" principles.
You want the game to revolve solely around you.
You aim to play an indestructible "terminator."
You cannot accept or follow the rules outlined in the PAF mechanics.
1. Don’t Be a Jerk!
We play to have fun and ensure others enjoy themselves as well. Do not take out physical or emotional frustration on others just because they may not perform as well during the game. Remember, there is always a human being on the other side, regardless of which faction they belong to. Treat others as you would like to be treated. If someone challenges your behavior, always adhere to safety rules. Players who deliberately break this rule will be warned by moderators, referees, or Game Masters and may ultimately be asked to leave the event.
2. Safety First
You, as a player, are responsible for your own safety and the safety of others. Ensure that the equipment you use is safe, act responsibly, and use safety words if necessary. If a conflict arises between a rule outlined in the FAQ and a dangerous situation, prioritize the safety of everyone involved above all else.
3. Everyone Is Responsible for Their Own Gameplay
Every participant is responsible for their enjoyment during the game. While problematic players may appear, this doesn’t mean you should act the same way. Players themselves create the atmosphere that surrounds them. We aim to simulate war, but this does not mean crossing others' boundaries is acceptable.
4. Insurance
The organizers provide accident insurance (NWW) for players. However, this does not make you invincible. Take care of your health and safety; do not risk them unnecessarily. No scenario in the game is worth endangering your well-being. The terrain is challenging—you could slip, fall from a height, or step into a hole while walking at night without proper lighting. Familiarize yourself with the terrain before the scenario begins. Think before you act!
